Take Home Maui, Inc our small Mom and Pop business was thrilled today. We have a Paul Theroux quote on one of our chalk boards “Hawaii is not a state of mind but a state of grace.” Some random elderly tourist came in today and identified himself as Theroux’s english professor from back in the day. He said he graded Theroux’s papers as B’s with the comments “prententious” and that has been the main humiliation of his academic career.
